Abierta la convocatoria de ayudas destinadas a la captación de talento 
investigador (Programa EMERGIA), en el ámbito del Plan Andaluz de 
Investigación, Desarrollo e Innovación (PAIDI 2020)

Oferta de la Escuela de Estudios Árabes, CSIC: Contrato de 4 años para 
un investigador doctor (FC3) en Estudios Árabes.

Descripción: Doctor en Filología Árabe, Arquitectura, Historia y/o 
Arqueología, especialista en el mundo árabe. Debe contar con una 
trayectoria consolidada en este ámbito; con participación en –y 
preferiblemente también dirección de– proyectos nacionales e 
internacionales; con publicaciones en revistas y editoriales de alto 
impacto que avalen su especialidad; y con una línea de investigación 
reconocida en el campo de los Estudios Árabes, que bien complemente las 
que se desarrollan actualmente en la EEA o amplíe el marco de estudios 
del instituto.

Title: Postdoctoral position (4-year contract) for a leading researcher 
on Arabic Studies

Description: The School of Arabic Studies (EEA, CSIC) invites 
applications for a 4-year position for a researcher with leadership 
skills within the field of Arabic studies. The candidate must have a PhD 
degree in Arabic Philology, Architecture, History, and/or Archaeology, 
and be a specialist in the Arab world. He/She must have a consolidated 
research trajectory, with participation in –and, preferably, also 
direction of– national and international research projects, and with 
publications in high-impact journals and publishers. He/She must have a 
recognized line of research within the field of Arabic Studies, which 
either supplements those that are currently developed in the EEA, or 
broadens the scope covered by them.
