[Uosenate] ASUO Update: Link to BIPOC Student Success Survey

Dear fellow senators,

Following up on the ASUO update from today:


The ASUO Senate passed a resolution to dedicate a portion of our Incidental Funds specifically towards supporting BIPOC students on campus and in the UO Community. While there are programs and resources on campus that support BIPOC students, the ASUO Senate has voted to support BIPOC student success with more dedicated funding from Incidental funds.


The intention of this survey is to acquire specific input on ways that more funding could be spent to support BIPOC students, assess needs on campus, and obtain ideas directly from groups and individuals who work to support BIPOC students at the UO. Then, either fund an existing program with more I-Fee funds or establish a pilot program based on the needs survey for the following year.

Thank you to those who have already filled this out, and if you wish to pass this along to anyone who's input would be valuable, please do so.


The committee is hoping to have responses by May 1st, but if you or your organization would like more time, please reach out to me (asuosenate02 at uoregon.edu) and we will happily arrange to take input later than the date.
