Concur Monthly Roundtable

The UO Travel Office hosts a monthly Concur Roundtable for Concur travel delegates and travelers on the first Wednesday of each month. It's an opportunity to meet your peers and share best practices, stay informed about changes and updates, and provide feedback related to Concur and UO travel.
Date: Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025 Time: 11:00 AM to Noon
The meal per diem allowance (aka Travel Allowance) is one of the most common expense types and yet building the meal per diem allowance itinerary in Concur can be confusing to new users. In this month's Concur/Travel Roundtable, we'll walk through how to build and edit a travel allowance itinerary, identify and avoid common mistakes, and streamline your process for greater accuracy and efficiency. We'll also cover how to properly account for personal days to ensure compliance, accounting for group travel and meals taken together, and explore Guest and Reduced Meal Per Diem. By the end, you'll have a clear framework for planning and managing per diem allowances with confidence.
Topics Include:
* Review of Travel Allowance/Meal Per Diem Policy
* Building the Travel Allowance Itinerary
* Making edits to the expenses once the Travel Allowance Itinerary has been made
*       Deleting Travel Allowance Itineraries
* What to do when your dates are "grayed out"
* Accounting for Personal Travel Days and meals provided to a traveler
* Guest and Reduced Meal Per Diem
* Best business practices for groups traveling together and accounting for group meals or groceries
*       Q&A
