Good evening CPSY/ CPHS community,

If you identify as a member of a mixed status family, please read on. If you can share this with any UO student, staff, or faculty member who may be a member of mixed status family, please share. This is for undergraduate and graduate students and for staff and faculty. This email is from the UO Dreamers Working Group:

We hope you this email finds you warm and safe.

The Dreamers Working Group (DWG) is asking for your support. The DWG is preparing a training for UO faculty, staff, and administrators this winter 2026.

As part of this training, we want participants to have a better understanding of the experiences of our campus Dreamers. The DWG considers Dreamers to be faculty, staff or students who identify as any one of the following: DACAmented, undocumented, Tuition Equity, or are from a Mixed Status family.

Inviting UO Dreamers to share as a panel is unwise at this time, but we wish to provide an opportunity to directly share your experiences, anonymously. We will share responses in the upcoming training.

If you are willing to share your experiences, please fill out the survey here<https://oregon.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_eJTrUymgLrck9Nk> or at the following link: https://oregon.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_eJTrUymgLrck9Nk.

The survey is completely anonymous. You can skip any questions and respond to only the questions you choose to respond to. Please complete by January 30.

We know that answering these this survey can be difficult and bring up a variety of feelings. We appreciate you giving of your time, energy, and hear.
Please know we are here to be in community with you. Please reach out to us, the Dreamers Working Group, through Justine Carpenter (justcarp at uoregon.edu<mailto:justcarp at uoregon.edu>).

Thank you.

Ellen

I support all students regardless of immigration status or country of origin. As a member of the UO Dreamers Working Group, I support Dreamer students and promote their sense of belonging and safety as they pursue their higher education goals. For more information and resources please visit our Dreamers page (https://www.uoregon.edu/uo-dreamers) and the Immigration FAQs page (http://international.uoregon.edu/immigration_faq ). Remember, when interacting with faculty, staff, and offices around campus you are never required to reveal your status.
