Subject: Invitation - 2022 Graduate Student Research Forum
Dear Benedict McWhirter,
Congratulations, your program is represented at the 11th Annual Graduate Student Research Forum being held Friday, May 13th from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm on the second floor of the EMU (in the Ballroom and other nearby rooms). We cordially invite you to the Forum and hope that you will extend the invitation formally to your program faculty and students.
The Graduate Research Forum is the only interdisciplinary graduate student research conference hosted on campus, and an opportunity to see graduate student research and creative expression on a grand scale. Throughout the day, there will be students participating in panel presentations, presenting their posters, and explaining their research in a “Three Minute Thesis” (3MT) competition. More than $4000 in award money will be presented to winners in each category. There is also a People’s Choice award for each category; attendees can vote for their favorite presentation. The Awards Ceremony is at 1:00 pm in the Redwood Auditorium.
Three of your graduate students are presenting from the Counseling Psychology, Family and Human Services Program.
* Yahaira Garcia is presenting a 3-Minute Thesis at 9:50am in the Cedar Room
* Christopher Capron and Gina Williamson are each presenting a Poster in the Ballroom.
I hope you, your faculty and student body can attend and support their efforts. Attached you will find the full Graduate Forum Schedule. You can learn more about these presentations, judges, and more on the Forum Website.<https://graduatestudies.uoregon.edu/forum> We look forward to seeing you there!
Sincerely,
Krista Chronister
