I am a graduate research assistant at Cleveland State University.
My supervisor Dr. Kelly Liao is conducting a research study and the purpose is to understand counseling trainees' experiences with LGBTQ+ clients and this study has an IRB approval (IRB-FY2021-99).

Would you be willing to distribute our survey through your department listserv to allow currently enrolled students to participate? We would greatly appreciate your help in recruiting trainees for our project.

Dear Potential Research Participant,

I am Dr. Kelly Liao from Cleveland State University from the College of Education in the Department of Counseling, Administration, Supervision, and Adult Learning. I am requesting your participation in a research study that relates to experiences trainees have about counseling LGBTQ+ clients.

If you are currently enrolled in counseling or counseling-related programs (e.g., clinical/counseling psychology, counselor education, or other psychology-related disciplines), we hope that you will consider completing an online survey. You must be 18 years old or older to participate in this study.

We would greatly appreciate your help. If you agree to participate, you will be asked to fill out a survey which will take about 15-20 minutes to complete. For your time and efforts, you are welcome to enter a raffle for one of 3 $25 Gift Card.
