Greetings everyone-

First - thanks To Dr. Leslie Leve who pulled this information together for prevention science students.  I am copying her homework!  And thanks to Samantha Bullis for all her coordination!

For all new and returning students—you may find the attached “Explore Eugene” document useful for learning about the basics and things to do in and around the region. A special thanks to PREV Associate Program Director Dr. Anne Mauricio for updating this document with notes about items that are temporarily affected by COVID-19 restrictions or by the Oregon fires.

Welcome to Anne- -Anne and her family relocated to Eugene to join the College of Education and Prevention Science Institute this summer, so she knows first-hand about moving to Eugene during this unprecedented time and has some great tips. New students will meet Anne in the orientation on Thursday.  Anne will have contact with CPSY students in a few ways - including serving as a supervisor for the Child Family practicum, and through Bilingual Supervision in the future.



For incoming students – there are a number of College of Education orientation activities scheduled for you on Thursday and Friday. You have likely seen some emails about these already. We are grateful to our Academic Outreach specialist Samantha Bullis for creating the attached ‘cheat sheet’ with all the Zoom links you will need Thursday and Friday.
