Dear Colleagues: Sorry for the follow up email but I want to clarify an error I made in my last communication. The U.S. News and World Report Graduate Education Survey does not ask me to rank programs but rather rate them, on a scale from 1 (marginal) to 5 (outstanding). Anyway, thank you to those who already sent me feedback. There is still time to do so.
If you are somehow personally/professionally knowledgeable about any particular graduate education program in the nation and if you have a favorable/unfavorable opinion or know about their reputation in your circles, please let me know (along with a rating!).
While I don't lend much legitimacy to how U.S. News and World Report ranks universities, I think it might be good to use this survey to express concerns folks may have with recent changes taking place in higher education and with how some schools/programs have changed their curriculum or treated their faculty in attempts to appease the current federal administration (just my opinion!)
Thank you for your input.
Please let me know by tomorrow (1/29) COB if you have any programs you'd like for me to rank. The survey is due this Friday (1/30). Thanks!
