coe-staff: Invitation to Meet with College of Education Dean Finalists

The following message is shared on behalf of the co-chairs of the COE Dean Search Committee:

Dear COE Faculty and Staff,

On behalf of Bruce Blonigen and John Seeley, co-chairs of the search committee for the permanent dean of the College of Education, I am writing with an update on the search and to invite you to meet with the finalists during the campus visits next month. We are holding the week of February 16 and part of the week of February 23 for campus visits. Each finalist will be on campus for a day and a half of interviews. We will be scheduling 45-minute meetings for COE Faculty and 45-minute meetings for COE Staff. Below are the meeting dates and times for each group. Please add these to your calendars. A Zoom option is available for those needing to join virtually, though in-person attendance is encouraged.

Candidate materials will be accessible 3 business days prior to each candidate's visit. Surveys will open at 8:00a on the day of each interview and close at 5:00p on Monday, March 2. Feedback from the survey will only be viewable by Provost Long, and the provost's chief of staff.

The search committee would like each candidate to have a consistent experience with each group they meet with. If you plan to attend each of your group sessions, you are encouraged to ask the same set of questions.
