coe-staff: Congratulations to the College of Education!

Good morning all,

Congratulations to the College of Education on taking First Place in direct donations to the student food pantry, and First Place in "most improved"!

Below is a breakdown of the good we have done for the community this year. It takes each and every one of us doing our part to fight hunger.

  *   Overall department winners: Most donations
     *   1st place: Johnson Hall & Communications, with 68,269 pounds / 51,202 meals (coordinators Jennifer Archer, Noemi Sepe, Laura Bottem, Carolyn Vogt, and Jove Rousseau)
     *   2nd place: UO Foundation, with 25,147 pounds / 18,860 meals (coordinator Sandra Anderson)
     *   3rd place: University Advancement, with 23,953 pounds / 17,965 meals (coordinators Debbie Anders and Sandi Ash)
  *   Most food donated to the student pantry
     *   1st place: College of Education, with 307.75 pounds (coordinators Lisa Fortin and Marty Hurst)
     *   2nd place: Human Resources, with 192 pounds (coordinator Jen Mirabile)
     *   3rd place: University Advancement, with 149 pounds
  *   Most improved: departments whose giving increased the most from 2020
     *   1st place: College of Education saw a 98.91% increase in giving
     *   2nd place: Museum of Natural and Cultural History saw a 98.67% increase in giving (coordinator Ruth Hyde)
     *   3rd place: Information Services saw a 95.13% increase in giving (coordinator Kristin Smith)
  *   Highest average giving: Highest per donor average
     *   1st place: UO Foundation, with 1093 pounds / 820 meals per donor
     *   2nd place: Academic Advising, with 960 pounds / 720 meals per donor (coordinator Stephanie Dresie)
     *   3rd place: Computer and Information Science, with 828 pounds / 621 meals per donor (coordinator Cheri Smith)
