Dear Faculty and Staff,
It is a pleasure to be writing this inaugural issue of The Monthly. Our work doesn’t stop in the summer, during breaks, on or off contract. For this reason, we need to communicate with one another, forge new collaborations and strengthen existing ones, and celebrate our many and varied achievements every day of the year. Today is a good day to celebrate achievements. See below.
Although your work continues during these warm months, please also take time to recharge. Next academic year will be like beginning anew and we will need great energy to grasp the many opportunities that the new year will offer.
Until the next issue, take care,
Randy
