coe-staff: New COE award

Dear COE community,
Please join me in congratulating our colleagues on the following new research award.

Daniel Anderson, Leilani Sáez, and John Seeley, at the Behavioral Research and Teaching unit, have received funding from the OVPRI's Interdisciplinary Seed Funding Program in Data Science Research for a piloting project entitled, "Community health and school readiness: Closing the gap." This project will use machine learning models to pool data and predict Oregon children's preparedness for kindergarten using a range of health, social, and educational predictors.
