Celebrate 10 years of Education Foundations and Undergraduate Research!

This year the Department of Education Studies and the College of Education celebrate 10 years of the Education Foundations Program. For the culminating project in EDST 342: Curriculum I, the senior cohort is taking a look back at 10 years of Education Foundations (EdF). They are conducting research and exploring forces that have shaped the curriculum and experiences of students in the program and in public schools. Their research will be presented as poster presentations with topics such as: changing demographics in teacher education; developments in children’s literature; special education; increased enrollment of international students; the gendered nature of teaching and teacher education, teacher dress, incorporation of technology in the classroom, and much more!

Posters will be set up in HEDCO 220 and the adjoining foyer on Thursday, March 15 between 10:00am and 11:50 am. Please come, support undergraduate research, and contribute to the conversation!
