coe-staff: Debi Eisert 1952-2017

The following message is sent on behalf of Dean Randy Kamphaus:

Dear COE Faculty and Staff,

We are saddened today to learn of the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Debra (Deb) Eisert who passed away yesterday after her difficult struggle with cancer. We learned of the news from her husband Lynn Kahle who has shared a brief bio (attached) chronicling her esteemed career and numerous accomplishments both professionally and personally.


All who knew Deb will remember her as a caring and competent professional who inspired others to do better. Our thoughts are with her family.

Emmaus Lutheran Church at 18th and Polk in Eugene will host a memorial service in Debi's honor at 1:30 on Saturday, June 24.  The family requests that memorial gifts be given to Emmaus Lutheran Church or to Jasper Mountain.
