coe-staff: University Senate Election Results

Dear College,

Dean Randy Kamphaus and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Brigid Flannery, are pleased to announce the COE seats that were awarded at the recent University Senate Elections.

Please join them in congratulating your six colleagues in their new or returning positions and in thanking them for their service. These individuals, along with many other volunteers and nominees,  participate as your advocates in the University's shared Governance system. Please contact them as your representatives in University Governance and related issues.

*       Angie Whalen was elected to the Graduate Council.

*       Marilyn Nippold was elected to the Faculty Personnel Committee.

*       Charles Martinez was elected to the Faculty Advisory Council.

*       John Seeley was elected as a Senator from the College of Education.

*       Chris Murray was elected as a Senator from the College of Education.

*       Greg Bryant was re-elected Senator for NTTF Researchers, and will serve a second term on the Senate Executive Committee.

The above lists only the newly elected members from the College of Education and does not include all of the COE faculty and staff who are still serving terms on committees or the Senate.
