coe-staff: Appointment of Professor Ed Kame'enui as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs

Dear Faculty and Staff,

I am pleased to announce Ed's willingness to take on this key leadership role for our college.  I think that you will enjoy, as I did, reading about Ed's many accomplishments and his record of national and local leadership (See brief biography attached).  Ed will lead us next year in a comprehensive assessment of our curricular offerings and performance, help us strengthen our academic programs, and work with us to identify new and important academic opportunities.  

Meanwhile, please join me in expressing your appreciation to Brigid Flannery.  Her dedication, generosity, and effectiveness have laid a strong foundation for us.  I look forward to working with her as she finishes her term of extraordinary service.
