coe-staff: Beware subsequent malware emails

All,

The recent message with the subject: "Notification of your payment" will continue to be a threat, so please remain vigilant and DO NOT open any emailed attachments unless you expect a specific attachment from someone you know.

UO emails accounts that have been compromised by this malware are forwarding the same malware attachment to addresses  in affected user's list of contacts. So you are likely to see the message come again from a UO distribution list or from a University of Oregon employee.

If you believe you have opened the attachment in the "Notification of your payment" email. Please contact COEIT as soon as possible. You can write us at coeit at uoregon.edu<mailto:coeit at uoregon.edu>. Or you can go to http://coehelp.uoregon.edu to send us a message via a web form.
