coe-staff: Save the Date: Open Forum for COE Dean Search

Chair Michael Moffitt and the Search Committee invite you to an open forum for the Dean, College of Education.

Date: Monday, February 3, 2014
Time: 10:00 - 11:00 am
Place: TBD

The meeting will focus on our discussion of the position itself and help us to reflect on the important opportunities and challenges that will face the next COE Dean.  In particular, please review the questions listed below:

  *   If the new Dean is successful, in what ways will the College of Education be different two years from now?  Five years from now?
  *   What COE activities need to be sustained?  Enhanced?  Initiated?  Changed?
  *   What factors will go into the success of the new Dean?  What measures (formal or informal) will be most relevant in assessing her or his success?
