CDS-Connection: 2020 EBP Recordings and info for CEUs

Dear Esteemed SLP Community,

The students and faculty of the CDS program would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks for your commitment in helping train future clinicians. We could not prepare our students without your community support.


You are invited to see our master's students presentations of their Evidence Based Practice Projects, the capstone project, which is their last milestone before embarking on their SLP careers. Each graduating student presents a review of the literature for a particular intervention in conjunction with their own findings from a case application using the target intervention. The projects thus provide a synthesis and integration of current research findings and clinical outcomes based on treating clients in real practice settings.

In years past we would have invited you to campus and would have been happy to see all your faces in person for these presentations, but of course that was not possible this year. We sent out an email earlier this spring letting you know we would send out additional information when we were able to and we are happy to present, at long last, our 2020 EBP presentations. We are so incredibly proud of our graduates and we hope you'll appreciate these presentations as much as we have.

Attached you will find an agenda for each day so you can decide which presentations you'd like to view. Below you will find the links to each day and track of recorded presentations as well as a link to the handouts for all of the presentations.

Lastly, there is a link to the survey(s) you'll need to fill out in order to get CEU credit. There is one survey for each date and CEU credits are .5 to .75 CEUs per presentation depending on the length of the presentation. For anyone wishing to receive CEUs we ask that you please complete your surveys by July 31st and we will send out the certificates of completion early August.
