Gift Reporting

Good afternoon,

The Business Affairs Financial Services department would like to remind campus departments of their responsibilities regarding gifts. Any gifts of goods or services received during FY24 from outside sources, including items purchased by the University of Oregon Foundation, must be reported to Business Affairs.

Gifts must be reported to ensure donors receive timely and appropriate letters of thanks from the Foundation and to initiate the necessary accounting entries by Business Affairs.

Goods and services can include, but are not limited to:

  *   scientific equipment
  *   computers
  *   musical instruments
  *   media services
  *   landscaping services

Gifts are to be reported on the Report of Gift-in-Kind Transmittal form located on forms.uoregon.edu<https://forms.uoregon.edu/>.

Please forward your completed forms to Business Affairs Financial Services department by Monday, July 8th, so gifts can be recorded in period 12. Forms received after that date and before Tuesday, July 16th will be recorded in period 14.
