LAX Announces Ride Share Pickup Changes:

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) today announced changes to the pickup process for ride share and taxi users. Curbside pickup at each terminal will no longer be allowed beginning October 29th.

To ease congestion while airport construction projects are underway, LAX announced a single pickup point for travelers using Uber, Lyft, or taxi ground transportation. The new pickup area, dubbed "LAX-it" will be east of Terminal 1. Upon arrival, passengers can get to the "LAX-it" lot via walking path or frequent shuttles from adjacent Terminals.

This does not apply to passengers being dropped off for departure, or passengers being picked up by friends or family.
It is recommended that arriving passengers using ride share or taxi ground transport budget additional time as this new process rolls out.
