Lunchtime Travel Talk  - Wed. Jan. 21 from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.


"Your Travel Has Been Granted" - If your travel involves grant related funds, this talk is a must for you!
Carrie Chesbro and Valerie Whelan from Sponsored Project Services will discuss important rules governing travel for sponsored projects and answer frequently asked questions:


*         When does Fly America Act apply and what do we need to do to be in compliance?

*         Are travel rules different when you travel on grant funds?

*         When is prior approval needed for the sponsor for travel expenses?



Location:  EMU Walnut Room.  Seating is limited to 40.

Travel Training



o   Travel Policy  -  Tues. Feb. 3 from 1:15p.m. to 5:00p.m.
This class is a prerequisite to the Travel Forms class.  Both must be completed in order to process travel reimbursements using the Duckweb travel form.    The Travel Policy class can also be attended as a refresher for experienced travel coordinators.


o   Travel Forms  -  Wed. Feb. 4 from 1:15p.m. to 5:00p.m.
Travel training for new travel coordinators for preparing travel reimbursements using the Duckweb travel reimbursement form.  Travel Policy class is a pre-requisite to the Travel Forms class.


Location:  BAO Conference Room, Oregon Hall 135.
