travelnews: Local Hotel Pricing Agreements

[BAO news for travel administrators]

Purchasing and Contracting Service (PCS) in coordination with the Travel Office is pleased to introduce a new Price Agreement program with several Eugene and Portland hotels.  These hotels offer at least one rate within the OUS per diem and agree to our terms and conditions.  This is not a guarantee they will always have the per diem rate available.  The per diem limit still applies so booking these hotels at a higher price does not allow for any reimbursement of a higher dollar amount.

Price Agreements establish discount pricing for UO business travel and streamline the contracting process.   To use a hotel within the Price Agreement program, a department may issue a Purchase Oregon (PO) including the reservation details and reference the hotel's UO Price Agreement.  No additional contract documents are needed for the reservation.

Departments making a reservation may check the terms of the applicable Price Agreement for restrictions and contact the hotel directly for reservations.
