Senate Executive Committee - October 19, 2022

  *   US22/23-04: Revisions to Study Abroad Programs Committee<https://senate.uoregon.edu/senate-motions/us2223-04-revisions-study-abroad-programs-committee>; Dennis Galvan, Will Johnson
  *   US22/23-03: New Program Proposal - BA/BS in Environmental Design<https://senate.uoregon.edu/senate-motions/us222303-new-program-proposal-babs-environmental-design>; Rich Margerum, Renee Irvin, Liska Chan
  *   Senate Awards
     *   Shared Governance: refine nomination criteria? (there seemed to be some confusion last year from a nominator)
     *   Classified Staff Award: only award that asks us to contact all prior senators in this constituent group to be part of the deliberative process....some of whom have had no connection to the Senate for many years. Seems a strange part of the process, the other awards are considered by those currently affiliated with the Senate. Also, can be hard to schedule that many people to look over the nominations during an already busy time of year.
  *   Senate Budget Committee: still need to elect a tenured faculty senator and a faculty senator.. could this group help with recruitment? Suggestions? (Longer term... does this group need to continue to exist? Do we have anything for them to work on? If we keep them, it would be good to simplify the membership criteria.)
