Subject: [Uosenateexec] Yet another request for a quick vote for another member of FPC
Dear Senate Exec,

The member that we approved for the Faculty Personnel Committee from SOJC is not able to serve after all. The SOJC has identified another candidate, Professor Seungahn Nah. The FPC is trying to identify its chair this week, so I am hoping we can reach a decision regarding Professor Ahn as quickly as possible. As such, I write for another email confirmation.

As before, please reply to this email ASAP with a single word, either “Yes” or “No”. Of course, if someone sees a reason that we need to discuss, let me know and we can have a more deliberative process.

I ask you to reply just to me — this is not a secret ballot, but as a practical matter I’d rather not clog up people’s inboxes with reply alls. When we reach a quorum I will take whichever vote is higher and communicate the result to our candidate and the convener of the FPC.
