In support of the demands of the Black Student Collective and in line with the statement issued by the American Association of University Professors - Oregon, attached you will find a letter to be sent to the President and Provost calling for the disarming of the UO Police Department. The original letter was generated by members of the Communication Disorders and Sciences Program under the initiative of Samantha Shune, McKay Sohlberg and Jennifer Meyer. We wanted to give our colleagues an opportunity to support this important cause if they wished.
