Hi Everyone,

This is a reminder that we are scheduled to meet tomorrow at 3 P.M. I have reordered the agenda slightly. Here is what you can expect in terms of the order of business.

I have also attached materials related to the expedited tenure motion discussion. Please note, the draft motion is currently being reviewed by the Senate Rules Committee for format and readability, and is expected to be put before the Senate at the February meeting. We thought these documents would help inform the discussion tomorrow.

1.       Update: Criteria for Evaluating Teaching—Tools and Processes

2.       Update: Academic Administrator Hiring Policy Discussion scheduled for 1/29 meeting

3.       Research Commission (please read attachment in advance of meeting)

4.       Expedited Tenure – proposed updates to policy and procedures; Ellen Herman, Vice Provost for Academic Affairs
