[Uosenate] Reminder: UO Senate Orientation (Wed, Sept. 20th, 3-5 pm) Gerlinger Lounge

Dear UO Senators,

We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, September 20th (3:00 to 5:00 p.m.) for the 2023 UO Senate Orientation. Please note that we will meet in Gerlinger Lounge. All of our other meetings this term will be on Zoom. The audience for orientation is not just first-year Senators; we also encourage 2nd-year Senators to attend. We will hear from President Scholz and discuss our Senate leadership priorities for the year. We will also have an informative panel of Senators and our former Senate President to discuss "how to be an effective Senator." The last 30 minutes will be for socializing, enjoying food, and getting to know each other better. Accordingly, we hope that all UO Senators make it a priority to attend. It would be great to see everyone in person.
