Senators,

I’m writing with one final reminder before our discussion next week of Dr. Bettina Love’s treatment of abolitionist teaching (attached). To kick-start the discussion, the Senate Anti-Racist Academy Steering Committee created this survey about your response to the reading (and keynote, if you were able to attend), your thoughts on the state of inclusive, anti-racist, and abolitionist teaching at UO, and your ideas for ways to do things differently. The survey is brief (only 8 questions) and meant to be a way to jot down some anonymous thoughts on these topics that can seed our discussion next week. Please note that your responses will be anonymous though they might be shared as part of the conversation. If you do not want your responses shared (even anonymously) please indicate so.

Please complete the survey by the end of the day on March 6 so the steering committee has a chance to digest your responses in preparation for the discussion.

I look forward to discussing this next week!
