Dear Colleagues,

I am sending this message as a follow up to an invitation that was sent on my behalf a few weeks ago.  Tomorrow, July 18, I will host 25-30 students in the Puertas Abiertas program from the LCC campus.  I have been asked to provide the same experience that the students had last year, by providing an opportunity for the students to meet Latinx faculty and staff.  This is a very informal discussion which will allow the students to meet you and learn a bit about what you do and your journey through higher education.  Several of you have responded that you will able to attend, which is greatly appreciated.  If you did not initially think  you would be available, but plans have changed, I invite you to join us in Straub 251 from 11 to noon, for what proved to be a very enjoyable and fulfilling experience last year.
