Rosa,
I can be there for something off the cuff. My afternoon today and morning tomorrow until 12:30 are packed, so I won’t have time to prepare anything. But, I am happy to do a quick off the cuff description of our committee work (if the group wants me to).

SG involvement is to leverage the attendance of SGs with the VPs, Deans and PDACC members to address the opportunities and gaps in creating a shared vision for supporting diverse students/faculty and staff. The agenda is attached.

> The University of Oregon has four strategies groups or employee resource groups for Native, Black, Latino and Asian/Pacific Islander Faculty, with the idea of working to improve retention, recruitment and success for students, faculty and staff of color. With the exception of Native Strategies which was founded several years ago, they are new and have not been connected to other entities on campus with similar mission. The purpose of this work session is for PDACC members to learn more about the work that each group is doing to help Strategies groups identify points of collaboration across campus with one another and with new partners in ways that help them to accomplish their missions.
