Subject: Update: April 21 - President's Diversity Advisory Community Council (PDACC) mtg. - Strategies Groups participation - RSVP: http://tinyurl.com/PDACC-4-21-17

Dear Strategies Groups leaders -

I would like to give you an update on the upcoming PDACC meeting.

It is scheduled on Friday, April 21 at 11:30am through 5:00pm (see attached agenda) at the Gerlinger Lounge.

Please let me give you information on your expected participation at this PDACC meeting as designed by VP Alex-Assensoh:


-        Give a 5min. update to audience members (President, Provost, Vice Presidents, Deans, guests) about your Strategies Group (see sequence in attached agenda)

-        Please submit your PowerPoint slides by Friday, April 14 at noon (or earlier). See attached template for use. Let me know if you have questions.

-        You will have a more in-depth opportunity to interact with audience members during the work sessions (see attached agenda)

-        Your work session is focused on the student experience at the UO. Your group participants will be Vice Presidents, Deans, and PDACC members. PDACC members will lead (Linda, Kahseuss, Alicia, and Dante)

-        The purpose of the group work activity is to find collaboration points between Strategies Groups and other campus units (schools and colleges in particular as they provide direct services to students)

-        Use this opportunity to share opportunities and challenges as explored in your Strategies Groups meetings and leverage your participation with the expert advice and advocacy provided by PDACC members. This is an opportunity for Vice Presidents and Deans to learn about your good work and to better understand challenges at hand.
