Dear Colleagues,

I wanted to send a reminder of AEC's upcoming event. In collaboration with DanceAbility International, the AEC is excited to announce that DanceAbility will be coming to campus on Wednesday, April 23rd, at 5pm in the Redwood Room in the EMU!

What is DanceAbility? DanceAbility is a dance method accessible to all people. DanceAbility's primary goals are to provide opportunities for people with and without disabilities, and people from different cultures to come together for artistic exploration and community-building, to explore and uproot misconceptions and prejudice between people with and without disabilities, cultivate cultural and artistic diversity through performance, communication, and education, and to encourage the evolution and performance of contemporary dance and new dance.

For this specific event, DanceAbility will be performing in EMU 214 (Redwood) with catered food, with gluten-free options available. The doors will open at 5pm with the event beginning at 5:30pm. Following the performance, the audience will have the opportunity to ask the dancers some questions during the Q&A session as well!
