I am reaching out to you regarding a project KUCDD and LEND are working on to see if you are interested in helping or know of anyone who is! Please see the message below.

In collaboration with the Kansas University Center on Developmental Disabilities (KUCDD) and the Kansas Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (Kansas LEND) program, we are working to create a video for faculty, staff and students at the college level to promote acceptance and accessibility for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) users on college campuses. We would like to invite you or someone you believe to be a good resource for this project to participate in an interview for the video.

Participation would involve sharing in a brief interview (somewhere around 30-45 minutes) with our host interviewer. We have about 3-5 questions we have generated based on the current outline of the video, which we can share with you in advance of your interview session. The interview can be conducted virtually or in-person. We have availability to conduct interviews on Monday mornings or Fridays beginning in mid-April and wrapping up the week of May 16th. We are also happy to answer any questions you may have about participation. Our hope is to disseminate the video to our various KU campuses and potentially other campuses who could benefit from the resource.
