Attention Graduate Students

Share Your Research Project in Conflict & Dispute Resolution

CRITERIA
*              Applicant must be a current graduate student, or have completed a graduate program within the past year.  Programs of study may include but are not limited to: conflict & dispute resolution, law, public/nonprofit administration, business administration, community & regional planning, environmental studies, international studies, psychology, social work, etc.
*              Research topics must be substantively related to the field of conflict & dispute resolution.  Empirical projects-both quantitative and qualitative-are welcome. Projects may include dissertations or theses in progress, as well as applied research and other related projects.  Students interested in participating may be at any point in their research (e.g., beginning, in progress, preparing to defend, etc.)

The presentation will follow the general rules and format of the Three Minute Thesis competition, which can be found here: http://threeminutethesis.org.  However, there will be no rankings or winners.  Rather, the panelists will gain on opportunity to engage in a scholarly discussion with workshop participants with the help of a moderator following their presentation.

Interested applicants should provide a short summary of their proposed presentation with the following information:

Name

Graduate program

Type of research project (e.g., dissertation, thesis, applied research project, field study, etc.)

Short (200 words or less) description of the project.  Be sure to articulate how the research contributes to the field of conflict & dispute resolution.
