*Practicum/Internship Opportunity at Ophelia’s Place 2018-2019:*



Ophelia’s Place is seeking students for practicum and internship
experiences for the 2018-2019 school year.  Ophelia’s Place is a non-profit
community and resource center for female-identifying youth ages 10-18.  We
provide counseling services, an after-school drop-in center, classes and
workshops, and an extensive school program that offers presentations on
topics such as bullying, media and body image, and healthy relationships as
well as term-long support groups.



Volunteers and interns at OP will provide direct service to girls and gain
real world professional development that is helpful for future employment
and application to graduate school. We select the top 25-30 applicants who
will be invited back for our mandatory training in September and are asked
to commit to the school year.
