To UO Travelers (Delegates and Travel Arrangers - please share with your travelers)

If you will be traveling in the next two weeks, plan for a very busy Spring Break travel season. All flights for the next two weeks are essentially sold out, leaving little room for re-accommodation.

Check in 24 hours ahead of flight time to confirm your flight, check for any schedule changes, check your bags, verify seat assignments, and print boarding passes. Airline counters will have long lines.

Airport parking lots will be full. Consider taking a Taxi or Uber/Lyft and making reservations for your ride service several days in advance.

Arrive at the airport at least two hours before flight time. TSA security lines will be long.

Carry-on bags: Review TSA's "What You Can Bring"<https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/whatcanibring/all> to avoid delays in the security line, wear easily removable shoes and jacket. Liquids must be less than 3.4 oz. Bring an empty water bottle to fill once past security.

Masks: Be sure to bring your mask as COVID protocols<https://www.tsa.gov/coronavirus> still apply for public transportation. Wash your hands often, bring wipes or hand sanitizer. Pack your COVID vaccination documentation.

Pack snacks as airport food options may be limited due to staffing issues and long lines.

Plan for unexpected issues and delays. Travel with contact phone numbers for UO contract travel agencies,<https://ba.uoregon.edu/travel/travel-resources> airlines, rental car companies, hotels or Airbnb hosts. Rental car companies now offer only a 30-minute grace period. If you will be late, you must contact your rental car company to hold your reservation. Alert your hotel or Airbnb for a late check-in and be sure your reservation is guaranteed with a credit card or deposit.

Set up your Concur back-up approver before you leave campus. See Concur Resources, Approvals, Setting up a Concur Backup Approver<https://ba.uoregon.edu/travel/concur>
