Tropical Storm Headed For South and Eastern U.S.

Tropical storm Andrea has formed in the Gulf of Mexico and is expected to come ashore across northern Florida today.  The storm will move up the east coast of the United States Friday and throughout the weekend.  Major metropolitan areas to be affected by Andrea in the days ahead include Washington DC, Philadelphia, New York City, and Boston.

Some flight delays and cancellations should be expected as Andrea produces heavy rains and wind.  Travelers are advised to check flight status with your travel agent or the airline prior to departing for the airport.
