The Oregon College and University Suicide Prevention Project (OCUSPP) is very excited to host the 2023 OCUSPP Summer Training at Portland State University in the Smith Memorial Student Union Ballroom on Monday, September 11th from 9:30-4:30pm. This training will focus on crisis support and suicide prevention for autistic people.

The training will be facilitated by Lisa Morgan who is an author, advocate, and consultant in crisis support. Lisa founded and co-chairs the Autism and Suicide Workgroup, which has developed three autism specific resources. Lisa is a certified autism specialist, Life Coach, and owner of Lisa Morgan Consulting LLC. Participants will be eligible to receive 5 CEs upon completion of this training.

This training includes the following learning objectives:
- to discuss unique risk factors and warning signs of suicide for autistic people.
- to explain cultural competence and unintentional harm
- to determine practical applications for supporting autistic people
