The Center on Parenting and Opioids (CPO) is excited to announce that we have partnered with OMSI's science communication team to develop a free (virtual) Science Communication Workshop for graduate students, faculty, and staff on Tuesday, October 6th, 3:00-5:00pm. This workshop, Core Concepts of Science Communication, will focus on building the skills to effectively communicate with and engage different audiences.

* Principles & core concepts of science communication for social scientists.
* Importance of science communication to research.

* Skills and resources to help the public engage in research in meaningful and relevant ways.
