Dear CPSY and Prevention Science Students,
I have had some inquiries about the Applied Mediation and Moderation class PREV 610 on Thursday afternoon regarding whether you need to have extensive experience in R to take the class. All examples will be provided in R, SPSS, and Mplus and you will have support on running the analyses. We will cover basic single level and multilevel analyses and some advanced topics. You do not need to be an R expert. All CPSY and PREV students can register on their own.
If you are working on a key publication or your dissertation, I would encourage you to take the class if you are interested in addressing questions of why or for whom a focal intervention or focal predictor works.
You will have an opportunity to customize predictive analyses during this course, if you are interested and on the fence, I would encourage you to sign up, there are 5 to 6 seats available.
Regards and Happy Fall!
Dave D.
