[Prevscilist] Please Read: Registering for Winter 2020 classes

Dear Prev Sci students,

Registration for Winter term opens on Monday (Nov 18). Please follow the 
instructions below to help ensure a smooth registration process for all.

1. When sending pre-authorization requests to Danette (at 
"prevsci at uoregon.edu") to register for a course, _fill all details 
requested in table below and include the filled table in your email. _

2. _If a course requires instructor approval, you need to get the 
approval prior to sending your request to Danette._ To show that you 
have received instructor approval, either forward/include your 
correspondence with the instructor OR you can cc/copy the course 
instructor on your email to Danette.

*PREV 634 Implementation Science: *Even though the online schedule lists 
pre-reqs for this course, we are in the process of removing these. These 
pre-reqs are not being enforced, you should be able to register for this 
course if you are planning to take it Winter term.

*Incoming students:* The list of elective options that Samantha had sent 
last month is attached along with. If a course is restricted by major, 
please send a note to Danette including Table above, and she can help 
you register. If a course requires instructor approval, in addition to 
filling table above, you also need to include documentation that you 
have received instructor approval (or cc the instructor) on your email 
to Danette. The attached list includes suggested elective options, you 
can consider other elective courses, including from other programs 
(COE/non-COE) based on your interests as long as the course/s are 
connected to your training in Prevention Science.
