Greetings student colleagues,
This is what I just sent to faculty and staff and wanted now to send to you as well!!

The university has started communicating promotions and advancements around campus for tenure-related faculty.  We are still awaiting notification for Non-Tenure Track Faculty members.

I am very happy to tell you that the following people in CPHS received the following notifications today:

Dr. Atika Khurana was granted indefinite Tenure and promotion to Associate Professor
Dr. Jessica Cronce was granted indefinite Tenure and promotion to Associate Professor
Dr. Jeff Todahl was granted indefinite Tenure (is already Associate Professor)
Dr. Krista Chronister was promoted to Full Professor

These promotions represent years and years of hard work and excellence in performance in Teaching/Instruction, student support, Research and Scholarship, Service to the institution and to national and international communities, commitment to enhancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the UO and beyond, and thousands of hours of dedicated work to support students and improve the lives of others through their integrated scholarship, teaching, and practice.

Please extend a warm congratulations to these folks when you see them this week. Although we have had unwelcomed news the past couple of weeks, this announcement allows us to celebrate the accomplishments of our outstanding colleagues who work very hard on behalf of the University of Oregon.
