Research Description: This research project explores how an informal science intervention impacts girls science affinities (interests, efficacy, attitudes, and identity). It is a mixed-methods project employing ordinal scale survey data, demographic information, and quantitative data from observations, conversations and interviews. The study involves a split half control group design with repeated measures. This is the third year of the study. Graduate students interested in a larger role in the project may be eligible for research credits through their advisors and co-authorship on resulting publications.
