Central Payroll/Campus Pay Admins Huddle.  Thank you to everyone who participated in the Payroll/Pay Admins Huddle. It was a great opportunity to begin strengthening communication and to address questions in real time. We look forward to continuing these conversations and will send out future invitations soon.

Manual Check Requests (MCR).  The 2026 payroll MCR calendar is attached for reference. MCR processing is 3 days per week, excluding termination payouts.

Payroll emails:

Our office has recently received questions about which payroll email address to use. Payroll can be reached through two dedicated addresses, each with a specific purpose:

  *   uopayroll at uoregon.edu – Use this address only for tax‑related matters, including notifications about employees working outside of Eugene.
  *   payroll at uoregon.edu – Use this address for all other payroll‑related questions.



W-4 Exemption Form 2026. Employees who claimed exemption from withholding on their W-4 were required to submit a new 2026 W-4 form by February 13, 2026, to continue their exempt status for the year. If the updated 2026 form was not submitted by the deadline, their withholding status was automatically changed to Single with 0 allowances until a new form is provided.

Reminders

Terminations, LWOP, FTE Reductions, Retirement: If you know of any employees terminating, retiring, going on leave without pay, start date change, or reducing FTE before March 26th, please notify Payroll immediately. This includes salaried employees who have terminated before April 1 or those impacted by insufficient paid leave or delayed separation paperwork. Early notification helps avoid overpayments and ensures accurate March pay.
