Updates


  *   Payroll Operations Manager<https://careers.uoregon.edu/en-us/job/528945/payroll-operations-manager>: The Payroll Office is looking for a dynamic individual to manage the UO Payroll operations, provide leadership and guidance to staff and department payroll coordinators, and foster an inclusive and diverse work environment. Time Entry Instructions


  *   SEIU Selective Salary Adjustments and Regular Merit Increases: Effective February 1, 2022
The Selective Salary Adjustments and February Merit Increases have been processed. While the selectives are not for all classified employees, it does affect over 800 employees. Please check your roster to ensure that your eligible employees have been updated correctly.

For Selective Eligible Hourly Employees:

PHAHOUR - There will be two timesheets for selective eligible hourly classified and temporary employees.

Caution:
     *   Timesheet # 1 is for hours through January 31, 2022.
     *   Timesheet # 2 with Effective Date of February 2, 2022, is for hours beginning February 1, 2022.
     *   Ensure all leave hours taken (sick, vacation, comp, and personal) and overtime hours worked are recorded for the correct time period regardless of rate change.

For Selective Eligible Hourly Employees with February Merit Increases:

PHAHOUR - There will be two timesheets for selective eligible hourly classified employees with February Merit increases.

Caution:

     *   Timesheet # 1 has current hourly rate for hours through January 31, 2022.
     *   Timesheet # 2 has new hourly rate with Effective Date of February 3, 2022, for hours beginning February 1, 2022.
     *   Ensure all leave hours taken (sick, vacation, comp, and personal) and overtime hours worked are recorded for the correct time period and rate.
     *   Please make sure the Lead Work and Work-out-of-Class differentials are paid at the correct rates.
Note: If hours are entered on only one timesheet (for hourly employees) you will have either overpaid or underpaid your employee!

For Selective Eligible Salaried Employees with February Merit Increases:

     *   Overtime hours worked in January - use earn code OTP (overtime for prior month), and enter the special rate - i.e. previous hourly rate before the merit.
