I think that not having cataloging experience may be helpful--we catalogers have our training getting in the way in this project i think.

Do you want more than catalogers or librarians to annotate?  If so, then maybe sending out to other listservs would help.

If you didn't try VRT or videolib, you might want to.

Hi all,

I'm looking for some help with brainstorming. Although many people have tried annotating credits on the web form, only a few are continuing to contribute on an ongoing basis. Do you have any ideas as to how we can attract more volunteers and how we can encourage people to continue to contribute?

Do volunteers need to have cataloging experience? Because if not, I could ask my foreign-language-speaking friends if they'd be interested. This is a fun project!
