[OLAC-credits] What if you get stuck on a credit

Hope everyone is annotating away. Here are a few ideas for what to do if you do get stuck.

1. Just hit the skip button and move on. For example, there may be credits that come up in languages that you don't know or that you just don't want to deal with right this moment. This is what the skip button is for.

2. Use the comment box. If you have some ideas, but you're not sure what's going on or if you can identify the problem, but not solve it, put something in the comment box. If you use the comment box, it disables all the other validation routines. This is useful if you get a credit without a name or my favorite, the completely blank credit. Someone will manually review every annotation that has a comment.

3. Copy the link and go back to it later. If you need to look something up or want to ask a question on this list before finishing a credit, you can use the link that includes the "note (credit) id" to go back to it later.
