Hi Tami,

I used Let's Read by Barnhardt to sharpen up reading skills. Started when
about half way through 100 lessons.
Plug through one page a day and kids know how to read little by little
before you know it.

This link is for the hardcover original copy of the book...

Let's Read: A Linguistic Approach
by Clarence L Barnhart (Author), Leonard Bloomfield (Author)

Some of the words are outdated...that brings up an interesting discussion
with the kids on how language changes over time.

Good luck!
Sheila
