di: teacher prep programs

Hi list - I am looking into university teacher prep programs and have been
surprised so far that many of them do not seem to teach reading instruction.

Are there programs that you would recommend? Do any focus on DI programs?
Online would be a plus, or in southern California.

Also, what do you think of the National Council on Teacher Quality (which
grades programs) as a resource?
